Installing Outlook Add-In

Here are the steps to access and install the add-in to new Outlook:

  1. Access the Add-ins Menu:

    • Open Outlook: Go to Outlook on the Web/Desktop App and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    • Click on Apps in the left side of the navigation pane or in the top-right corner of the email next to the forward button when you open any email.

    • Click Add apps.

    • This will open the Apps for Outlook dialog.

  2. Search for Add-ins:

    • In the Apps for Outlook dialog, you can either browse or use the search bar to locate the CCH Axcess Document add-in.

    • Once you find the add-in, click on it to view more details.

  3. Add the Add-in:

    1. Click the Add button to install the CCH Axcess Document add-in.

    2. Follow any additional prompts to complete the installation.

    3. After completing the installation, you can access it both via the web and the desktop application.

  4. Use the Add-in:

    • After installation, the add-in will appear in your Outlook under Apps .

    • You can now utilize the add-in directly within your Outlook interface in both Read and Compose mode.

    • Click on New Mail, then click Reply. Afterward, select Replay All, then click Apps  .

    • When you click Apps the CCH Axcess Document icon will be visible.

    • Click on the CCH Axcess Document icon. You will now see the list of Share safe functions.

      • Send a file Option

      • Request a File

      • Attach Document Files with Share Safe

      • Send & Save to Document

Notes:

  • Share Safe functionality will work the same as the previous version of Microsoft Outlook®.
