Creating Notes for Staff

You can use the staff note to store a variety of information about the staff. The staff note is comprised of three areas: date, subject, and note.

To add a staff note, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Staff Manager under Staff.
  2. Do one of the following to open the staff profile:
    • Add new staff profile.
      1. Click New > Staff in the Create group on the Home tab, or right-click in the Staff grid and select New > Staff from the menu.
      2. Select a template or an existing staff as the source for the new staff.
      3. Click Continue. See Adding a Staff Profile for more information.
    • Open an existing staff profile. Select a staff in the Staff grid and click Open in the Edit group on the Home tab. See Editing Staff Profiles for more information.
  3. Click Notes on the navigation panel.
  4. Do one of the following to display the Note - Staff window:
    • Add a note. Click New on the button bar to add a note.
    • Open a note. Select a record in the grid and click Open on the button bar to edit an existing note.
  5. Enter information for the staff note. ClosedExplain the components of the window.
  6. Click one of the ClosedSave buttons to save your note.
  7. Click one of the ClosedSave buttons to save changes to the staff profile.
