Setting the Option to Delete Microsoft® Outlook® Emails Uploaded to Document

You can configure the plug-in to Microsoft® Outlook® to delete messages from your Inbox once they are uploaded to Document. You can set the option to delete separately for sent and received emails. The advantage of using this option is that you do not have to store emails in more than one location.

Note: This selection is not saved when you exit Outlook®. If you want to use this option when you reopen Outlook®, you must enable it again.

To configure the delete options for Outlook® emails, do the following:

  1. In Outlook®, click the CCH ProSystem fx Suite tab on the ribbon.
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Select Outlook.
  4. Select the check box next to a option to enable that option. Clear a check box next to an option to disable that option. The two delete options you can select are: 
    • Delete messages that I receive after I save them to Document
    • Delete sent messages after I save them to Document

Note: You can also right-click a message and select CCH ProSystem fx Suite > Configuration and Help Topics > Configuration > Outlook.
