Managing Allowed Hyperlinks for Document

As an alternative to adding files to Document, your firm can allow staff to add hyperlinks that point to files located outside of Document . To prevent malicious links from being added to your repository, your CCH Axcess administrator must add a link's URL to the allowed hyperlinks list. Hyperlinks that are not on the allowed hyperlinks list cannot be added to Document.

ClosedAdd an allowed hyperlink.

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Lists under Firm.

  2. Click Document Lists > Allowed Hyperlinks on the navigation panel.
  3. Click New on the button bar or click into the first blank row in the grid.
  4. Enter the web address for the allowed hyperlinks.
  5. Press Enter on your keyboard.

ClosedDelete a hyperlink from the Allowed Hyperlink list.

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Lists under Firm.

  2. Click Document Lists > Allowed Hyperlinks on the navigation panel.
  3. Select the hyperlink you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete on the button bar.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

ClosedPrint the list of allowed hyperlinks.

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Lists under Firm.

  2. Click Document Lists > Allowed Hyperlinks on the navigation panel.
  3. Click Print on the button bar.
  4. Select your print options.
  5. Click Print.

ClosedSearch for a specific hyperlink in the Allowed Hyperlink list.

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Lists under Firm.

  2. Click Document Lists > Allowed Hyperlinks on the navigation panel.
  3. Click Find on the button bar.
  4. Enter all or part of the hyperlink URL.
  5. Click Find Next.
