2-Step Verification

2-Step Verification increases security by sending clients a one-time code that authenticates identity and the device from which they are logging in, adding a layer of protection more resilient than a password alone can provide.

The verification process is device- and browser-specific. Clients must perform the verification process on each device and in each browser they use to access Client Axcess. After verifying identity on a device and in a browser, they can log in for subsequent sessions with just an ID and password.

Note: If a client has not logged in for 90 days, they must re-authenticate their identity. This re-authentication does not require changing their password.

Tip: We strongly recommend including a phone number when setting up client accounts, as this can be used to send verification codes via text or voice call.
