Marking a Template as Active or Inactive

Templates that you mark as inactive cannot be selected for use in a client profile. However, if a template is already selected as the default for a client, you can continue to use it for that client even after the template is marked inactive.

Note: When a template is inactive, its name displays in a faded gray or faded blue color in the Invoice and Statement Content Manager navigation pane. Gray text indicates a system template, while blue text is used for templates created by your firm.

To mark a template as inactive, do the following:

  1. ClosedOpen the Invoice and Statement Content Manager.

    1. In Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel.
    2. In the Firm section, click Invoice and statement templates.
  2. In the Templates section of the navigation panel, right-click a template and click Edit
  3. Select the Template is active check box to make the template active, or clear the check box to mark the template as inactive.
