Setting Your Billing User Options

Use the billing user options to specify what information to include in the invoice emails you send out. You cannot change the invoice email at the time it is sent.

Note: The best practice for distributing invoices to clients is to publish them to CCH Axcess Portal, rather than sending the invoices through email. To publish files to Portal, you must also license CCH Axcess Document. Invoices can be final printed to Document, and then automatically published to Portal from there. See Setting Up Invoice Printing to Document for more information.

To set your billing user options, do the following:

  1. On the Dashboard, click User Options.
  2. Click Practice > Billing on the navigation panel.
  3. Click Invoice subject and body.
  4. Enter your Closedemail information.

    Note: Words that display in blue and are surrounded by brackets are keywords, which will be customized for each invoice at the time the email is sent.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK again.
