Configuring Return Configuration Set Organizer Options

The Organizer return configuration set options allow you to apply default settings to standard Organizer letters for Individual and Fiduciary returns.

Expand the options in step 5 to review the tax return fields that override the return configuration set.

To configure Organizer settings, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Configuration > Return configuration sets under Tax.
  2. Double-click a return configuration set on the navigation panel.
  3. Select Pro Forma/Organizer on the navigation panel.
  4. Click the Organizer tab.
  5. Select or enter Organizer options. ClosedExplain the Organizer options.
  6. Enter your firm’s address in heading lines 1 through 4. Return locations that override this option are as follows:
    • Individual. General > Return Options > Pro Forma and Organizer Print Options worksheet
    • Fiduciary. General > Return Options > Pro Forma and Organizer Options worksheet
  7. Click Save to save your changes and continue working in the return configuration set, or click Save & Close to save your changes and close the return configuration set.
