Using Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts allow you to access application functions using fewer commands and without needing to use your mouse. Expand the following items to display the available keyboard shortcuts grouped by their functionality.
In addition to the shortcuts listed here, press Alt on your keyboard while in Return Manager or in a tax return to display the available keyboard shortcuts on the Application menu, ribbon, and Quick Access Toolbar. Next, press Alt and the keyboard shortcut for a ribbon tab to display the available shortcuts for each command on the ribbon tab.
Example : In Return Manager , pressing Alt+L+W displays the options in the Web drop-down list on the Help tab.

Asterisk (*) on numeric keypad
Display all sub-items under the selected item.
Plus sign (+) on numeric keypad
Display the sub-items directly under the selected item.
Minus sign (-) on numeric keypad
Collapse the items directly under the selected item group.
Left arrow
Collapse the current selected level (if expanded) and move focus to the previous level.
Right arrow
Display the sub-items directly under the selected item (if collapsed).
Shift + up arrow
Scroll the view without changing the selection.
Shift + down arrow
Scroll the view without changing the selection.
Window Shortcuts
Tab
Move to the next option or option group.
Shift + Tab
Move to the previous option or option group.
Ctrl + Mouse Click
Open worksheet or form in a new tab.
Ctrl + Tab
Switch to the next tab when multiple tabs are open.
Ctrl + Shift + Tab
Switch to the previous tab in a window.
Arrow keys
Move between options in an open list or between options in a group of options.
Spacebar
Perform the action assigned to the selected button; select or clear the check box.
Alt + down arrow; F4
Open a selected list.

Close a selected list.

Refresh the Return Manager grid.

Note : In addition to keyboard shortcuts, access keys are available for ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar commands. Press the Alt key to display KeyTips for each command. The KeyTip that displays for a particular command is the key to use in conjunction with the Alt key to perform that function. For example, pressing Alt+F displays the Application menu.
