Selecting Firm Complexity Levels for a Project Type

Use the Firm Complexities window to select complexity levels to include in a project type. The complexity levels assigned in the project type will be available in templates and projects of that project type.

ClosedHow do I get to this window?

  1. Do one of the following to open the Types list:

    • In Dashboard. Click Application Links, and then click Configuration > Project types under Workstream.
    • In Workstream. On the Manage ribbon, click Types.
  2. Select a type in the grid and then click in the button bar.
  3. Click Complexities on the navigation panel.
  4. Click Firm Complexity Levels on the button bar.

The grid at the top of the window lists the complexity levels that are available to add to the project type. The grid at the bottom lists the complexity levels that have already been assigned to the type, if any.

ClosedAdd a complexity level to the type.

  1. In the top grid, select the complexity level you want to add to the project type.
  2. Clickto add the complexity level to the project type. You can also clickto assign all complexity levels to the type.
  3. Click OK.

ClosedRemove a complexity level from the type.

  1. In the bottom grid, select the complexity level you want to remove from the project type.
  2. Click to remove the complexity level from the project type.

    Note: You can also clickto remove all the complexity levels from the project type. Doing so only removes the complexity levels from this window. It does not remove complexities that have been saved to the project type.

  3. Click OK.

Note: If you have the appropriate rights, the Add Firm Complexity Levels and Edit Firm Complexity Levels buttons display at the bottom of the window. You can use these buttons to open Workstream Lists and make changes to the complexity levels for your firm.
