Using the Firm Status Window

Use the Firm Status window to select statuses that should be available in a selected project type. The statuses assigned to the project type will be available in templates and projects of that project type.

ClosedHow do I get to this window?

  1. Do one of the following to open the Types list:

    • In Dashboard. Click Application Links, and then click Configuration > Project types under Workstream.
    • In Workstream. On the Manage ribbon, click Types.
  2. Select a type in the grid and then click in the button bar.
  3. Click Status on the navigation panel.
  4. Click Firm Status on the button bar.

The grid at the top of the window lists the statuses that are available to add to the project type. The grid at the bottom lists the statuses that have already been assigned to the type, if any.

Note: Statuses are created and managed in the Workstream Lists. If you have the appropriate rights, the Add Firm Status and Edit Firm Status buttons display at the bottom of the window. You can use these buttons to open Workstream Lists and make changes to the statuses for your firm.

ClosedAdd a status to the type.

  1. In the top grid, select the status you want to add to the project type.
  2. Clickto add the status to the project type.
  3. Click OK..

Note: You can also clickto assign all statuses to the type.

ClosedRemove a status from the type.

  1. In the bottom grid, select the status you want to remove from the project type.
  2. Click to remove the status from the project type.
  3. Click OK.

Note: You can also clickto remove all the statuses from the project type. Doing so does not remove statuses that already have been saved to the project type.
