Deleting a Template

If a template should no longer be used, you have two options to remove it from the list of available templates:

  • Deleting the template. You can delete a template if it is not in use by any projects. If the template is used by any projects, you must delete those projects before you can delete the template. Workstream will alert you if you try to delete a template that is in use.
  • Tip: To identify the projects using a template, create a project view that includes only projects using that template.

  • Marking the template inactive. If you cannot delete the projects that are using a template, then you can mark the template inactive instead of deleting it. Marking a template inactive hides the template in the list of templates so it cannot be selected for new projects.
