Copying Worksteps

You can copy worksteps from one template to another and from one project to another. The new worksteps will have the same properties as the original workstep.

Note: You cannot copy worksteps to a  template that does not use worksteps or to projects which use templates without worksteps.

1. Open the template or project for which you are copying worksteps.
2. Click Worksteps on the navigation panel.
3. Select a workstep in the grid, and then click Copy to Multiple.
4. Expand the items in the list to select the check boxes for the templates or projects that you want to copy the workstep to.
5. Click OK.
6. Click a Save option.

   Button	Description
   Save	Saves the changes and the window stays open for editing. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
   Save & New	Saves the changes and opens a new window to create a new entry. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information. Note: This option is not available in edit mode.
   Save & Close	Saves the changes and exits the window. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
   Cancel	Exits the window without saving your changes.
