Changing the Buttons on the Navigation Pane

By default, the navigation pane displays buttons for all of the available entity types and for saved searches and favorites. You can change the appearance of the navigation pane to better suit your workflow by doing any of the following.

Reduce full-size buttons to smaller icon links.

Restore small icon links to full-size buttons.

1. Click the arrow at the bottom of the navigation pane.
2. Select Show More Buttons. The first icon in the list is changed to a larger button on the navigation panel.
3. Repeat the previous step until you've enlarged all the icons into buttons.

Hide or display a single button on the navigation pane.

1. Click the arrow at the bottom of the navigation panel and select Add or Remove Buttons.
2. Click the name of a displayed button to hide it. Click the name of a hidden button to display the button.

Hide or display multiple buttons at one time.

1. Click the arrow at the bottom of the navigation panel and select Navigation Pane Options
2. Clear the check box for a button to hide the button. Select the check box for a button to display the button.
3. Click OK.

Change the order of the buttons on the navigation pane.

1. Click the arrow at the bottom of the navigation panel and select Navigation Pane Options
2. Select a button that you want to move in the Display buttons in this order list.
3. Click Move Up or Move Down as needed until the button is in the location where you want it to stay.
4. Repeat the previous two steps as needed until the buttons are in your preferred order.
5. Click OK.
