Setting the Entity List User Option

You can choose the identifying information you want to display in the navigation panel for your entities. The option you select can make it easier to identify the correct entity when entities have similar names or IDs.

Note: The option you select here will only affect your installation of Document. Other staff members can choose a different option.

To set your Entity List user option, do the following:

  1. Click Entity List settings on the navigation panel.
  2. Select an option to indicate how you would like entities to display in the Entity List. The options are:
    • Sort Name only
    • Sort Name + ID
    • ID + Sort Name
    • ID only

    Note: The ID and Sort Name used for an entity is specified when the entity is set up in Dashboard.
