Checking for Product Updates (Server)

The Check for Updates window displays a list of available updates for Install and Update Manager.

The window is divided into the following two sections:

  • Update status. This section displays information pertaining to the most recent check for updates, results of the last download, and your update preferences.
  • Available updates. This section displays products with available updates that are licensed to the account number provided. You can download updates, apply updates, and view past updates.
  1. Click Update on the navigation panel.
  2. Click Check for Updates. The Check for Updates window displays.
  3. Click Check for Updates Now to check for product updates.
  4. Click Download Updates if available updates are indicated. If available updates are listed, you can click the Details link to review the releases that are available for download.
  5. Click Update Licensing to verify the account number provided is licensed for the product listed.
  6. Select Apply Updates on the navigation panel to open the Apply Updates window.
  7. Notes:

    • Updates will not be shown if your firm has canceled a product license or if there is a credit hold for the account.
    • You have the option of updating only your licensing.
