Using the Diagnostic Utility (Server Installation)

CCH ProSystem fx Diagnostic Utility validates your server's configuration and environment settings to ensure that you can perform a successful update. If any settings or configurations need to be changed, a diagnostic report provides you with instructions.

The diagnostic utility launches automatically before the update process begins. It can also be started manually.

To use CCH ProSystem fx Diagnostic Utility, do the following:

1. Click Start > All Programs > CCH ProSystem fx suite > CCH ProSystem fx Diagnostic Utility.
2. Click Start diagnostics.
3. Follow the instructions in the Action to be taken column of the Diagnostic report, if necessary.
