Downloading the Identity Provider Certificate

Your firm must download the Identity Provider certificate (the firm's AD FS token signing certificate) before setting up the Federation Services method of logging in to CCH ProSystem fx.

Important: Wolters Kluwer may need to make changes to your account to ensure continued access to the new ProSystem fx Suite after you implement Federation Services. Before beginning Federation Services setup, we recommend reviewing the knowledge base article Planning for Changes to CCH Axcess Login Mode, and then contacting Wolters Kluwer so we can make the necessary changes.

Do the following to download the certificate:

1. Log in to the workstation where your firm's AD FS is installed.
2. From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > Windows Administrative Tools > AD FS Management.
3. On the AD FS Management console, select Services > Certificates.
4. Locate the certificate under Token-signing.
5. Right-click the certificate and select View Certificate.
6. Click the Details tab and select Copy to File to open the Certificate Export Wizard.
7. Select the DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER) format and click Next to export the certificate.
