Configuring the Firm's Email Settings

Tip: You can expand areas in this window by clicking to the right of the section header.

To enter or edit email information, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click on the navigation panel, and then click Settings and defaults under Firm.
  2. Click Email Settings on the navigation panel.
  3. Enter or edit the system email address that will be used on emails automatically delivered from the CCH ProSystem fx application. This should be the main email address for your firm. Enter the email address in the first box and the domain name in the second.
  4. Note: The domain you enter here will be used to pre-populate the domain for staff.

  5. Edit the firm information, if necessary. ClosedExplain the available fields
  6. Note: The SMTP information was originally configured in the setup wizard.

  7. Enter your firm's email disclosure. This will be added to the end of firm emails.
  8. Click OK.
