Setting Up Productivity Goals

Productivity goals are based on a budget period you have established for your firm. After establishing the budget year and budget period, you can set billable, non-billable, and realization percentage for the selected staff. The process can be repeated for any number of budget periods.

Example: Your staff's productivity goals may be higher in March and April than June or July. You can modify the expected productivity for those time periods.

To set up productivity goals for your firm, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Staff Manager under Staff.
  2. Click Productivity Goals in the navigation panel.
  3. Click Set up goals in the navigation panel, if needed.
  4. Enter your productivity goals. ClosedExplain the productivity goals components.
  5. Select the box in the Select column next to the employees to whom the budgets should be established.
  6. Click Apply to save your selections. The window displays the new information.
  7. Repeat steps 3-5 for any additional periods or staff, or select the Copy Goals to Employees tab or Copy goals to periods tab.
  8. Click one of the ClosedSave buttons or Cancel.
