You can export K-1 data from Partnership, S Corporation, and Fiduciary returns. The exported data can be imported directly into another return, or it can be exported to a Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet.
Export to Other Returns
You can export K-1 data the following types of returns.

The general process of exporting K-1 data from one return into another return is as follows:
- Set up the export.
- Export the data.
- Open the target return.
- If you have edit rights for the return, you are prompted to import the updated K-1 data automatically.
- If you close this prompt, but later want to do the import, select K-1 Data > K-1 from Other Returns in the Import group on the Import / Export tab. See Importing K-1 Data from Other Returns for detailed instructions.

Export to a Microsoft® Excel® Spreadsheet
