Reviewing the Client Import Report

The ClientImport report is displayed from the Client Import Utility and allows you to review the status of client data imported to a CCH ProSystem fx client profile. For information about opening the Client Import Utility, see Importing Client Data to the CCH ProSystem fx Suite.

Information in the report shows details about the status of each configured and required CCH ProSystem fx client profile attribute.

  1. Review information on the Summary and Detail tabs to validate the following:
    • Summary. The number of clients processed and imported.
    • Detail. The success of your client data import. The import status is organized in three expandable sections: Warning, Error, and Information.

    Print Click Print on the button bar to send the grid information to any printer installed on your machine.
    Export Click Export on the button bar to save the grid information to an external XLS or XML file.
    Find Click Find on the button bar. Enter the complete criteria to search for a specific record or partial information to search for similar matches. Click Find Next to select the next instance of your criteria in the grid.
  4. Click Close.

Note: Information in the report is not retained after the Client Import Report window is closed. To reference the detail after you close the report, use Print or Export.

Tip: If errors or warnings are listed in the report, run the Client Import Utility using the Run Diagnostics command to validate your configuration is complete and accurate before the data is imported. See Reviewing the Client Import Diagnostics Report for more information about this report.
