The grid in the upper portion of the window lists all the worksteps in this template. The order in which the worksteps are listed is the order in which they must be completed. The exception is for the child worksteps within a workstep group. The child worksteps are typically completed concurrently. All child worksteps in a group must be completed before the workstep group can be marked completed.

Click to remove a selected child workstep from a workstep group. The removed workstep will be inserted immediately below the workstep group in the grid.
Insert
Click to create a new workstep immediately below a selected workstep.
Open
Click to open worksteps selected in the grid.
Copy
Click to create a new workstep with settings based on the selected workstep.
Delete
Click to remove a selected workstep from the grid.
Copy to Multiple
Click to add the selected worksteps to another template that also uses worksteps.
Move Up
Click to move a selected workstep higher in the workstep grid.
Move Down
Click to move a selected workstep lower in the workstep grid.
Shows the order in which the worksteps are to be completed.
ID
Displays the ID for a workstep. The ID is the only column that cannot be hidden and the only component that cannot be copied.
Name
Displays a description for the task to be performed.
Lock
Click an open lock to lock this workstep in the projects created from the template. Click a closed lock to unlock this workstep in projects created from the template.
Budget Hours
Displays the number of hours that this workstep is expected to require, as entered on the Budgeting tab.
Assigned
Displays the staff member assigned to the workstep.
Workstep Details
If you select a workstep in the workstep grid and then click Show Details, a lower pane containing detailed information for the selected workstep displays. If you prefer, you can also display the detailed workstep information as a separate window by double-clicking a workstep in the upper grid.
